I had seen this book at the book store quite awhile ago and was so excited to go to the library and place a hold on it! I did and realized I was number 167 in the hold queue… OMG! So I went about my days and eventually forgot until this week when I got my hold notification saying it was ready to come and pick up! Yay!
I love Sweet Paul Magazine and was beyond excited to sit with a coffee, flip through his lovely book and pick something amazing to make! That’s exactly what I did yesterday! I picked the Roasted Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie! It was an amazing choice and a perfect cloudy and rainy day for it — comforting, warm and delicious! The problem was trying to pick just one thing, everything looks so good!
The book is beautiful & lovely. Everything is laid out just right, the pictures are amazing and the recipes all look delicious! I ♥ Sweet Paul and this book!
I was also super excited to finally get to use my vintage Le Creuset that my Mom had given me. She had never really used it bc it was so small and it was a wedding gift from 40 years ago. I was delighted to have it and now to finally use it! I must have been waiting for just the right recipe. It was the perfect size for this recipe and cooked up perfectly! Oh I wish I had taken a picture of it before I ate it all up! I also made little mini pumpkin bundt cakes with cream cheese icing! Yum!
